RGB Color Sensor PR0126

The RGB Color Sensor PR0126 acts as a fast color detection system with integrated light source. Parameterization and evaluation of the color takes place in the Chromaticity color space.


Up to 3 completely different products for the colors white to black can be parameterized and tested independently from each other without any changing of parameters or gain levels. The sensor comes with 3 product outputs for the indication of the particular detected color.

The sensor collects 3 color channels in parallel. During control via digital I/O's the cycle time is approximately 10ms. The applied measurement method leads to a high elimination of environmental effects.
The coupling of light takes place via light guides. With that point-shaped as well as larger areas can be inspected for the consistency of the color. The module evaluates the surface as composite signal.
